Commitment Ceremonies
A Commitment Ceremony is a ceremony where the couple for some reason cannot or will not legally get married. The explanations are at times as varied as the couples themselves. A commitment ceremony is also called an “Affirmation of Love” ceremony, where you affirm your love for one another.

Following are some of the more frequent reasons that couples prefer or decide on a having commitment ceremony to celebrate their love.

As a form of Engagement
You may prefer a commitment ceremony as a defining component of your engagement, until a date is set for your wedding. You may want to have a commitment ceremony in order to “cement” your engagement to each other. This is especially true if for financial or other reasons, you can’t have your wedding within a year or so, and the date is a bit too far in the future.   

Marriage - Not Presently Possible
A commitment ceremony is a great choice for a couple who, for one reason or another getting legally married is not a viable option. Some people want to wait for negative feelings after a bad relationship to settle and clear before starting anew. They are more cautious about taking that proverbial walk down the aisle a second time or have some other very personal reasons to avoid or delay legalizing their present loving relationship. This is the perfect time for a commitment ceremony which assures the love of your life - that your boundless love - is very important to you and that you are compelled to recognize these feelings for another.

Same-Sex Commitment Ceremony
This may be your only option for now, at least in Pennsylvania. A commitment ceremony will allow you to celebrate your love for each other with your expression of profound feelings and give you a sense of personal satisfaction. The commitment ceremony is sometimes referred to as an Affirmation of Love Ceremony.  

Against all Odds
When the entire world seems to oppose you and your beloved, and you ask yourself, "Why can’t everyone just be more open minded and understanding about our relationship?"
Happiness is so sought after that anyone would think friends, family, well, just about every other person in the entire world, would or should be delighted knowing that you have found true love. If only this were true.

If it pleases you to please them, a commitment ceremony will ease the stress that is caused by interference from other situations or people. Your hearts, in knowing that you and your beloved are not alone can still unite in a private ceremony.

Find comfort knowing that we accept you and your love and that both of you can celebrate your love’s bliss with a commitment ceremony or an affirmation of love ceremony at our private, romantic chapel or your favorite location. No matter which title we give to this ceremony, it's the feelings from the heart that really matter.

With the commitment ceremony you are offered a choice of either a certificate for the Affirmation of your Love or a Certificate of Commitment. This is not a legal ceremony or certificate.

Just the 2 of US!
Come to our cozy, little, romantic chapel for a discreet and personal ceremony. This ceremony is for the couple only – no guests.
A fee of $150, includes:
~ A Private ceremony for just the two of you
~ Unlimited email
~ Pre-written ceremony either romantic, religious, spiritual
~ Photos taken during and after the ceremony are emailed to you
~ Rose petals
~ Romantic candles
~ Background music
~ Free off-street parking
~ Certificate of Commitment is given for your special day

The Rose
Come to our cozy, little chapel for a romantic ceremony.
Guests are welcome – Space is limited to four guests.
A fee of $200, includes:
~ Pre-written ceremony either romantic, religious, spiritual
~ Unlimited email
~ Photos taken during and after the ceremony are emailed to you
~ Rose petals
~ Romantic candles
~ Background music
~ Free off-street parking
~ Certificate of Commitment is given on your special day

Red Roses
Whether you chose to have your commitment ceremony in a park, along the river, a backyard BBQ, or in your living room, we’ll be there for you. * Please note: A mileage fee may apply.
A fee of $250, includes:
~ A ceremony for the two of you at your location
~ Pre-written ceremony either romantic, religious, spiritual
~ Unlimited phone and email consultations before and after the ceremony
~ A copy of the ceremony is given to the couple
~ Photos taken during and after the ceremony are emailed to you
~ Background Music can be provided
~ Certificate of Commitment is given on your special day

A Dozen Red Roses
Let your commitment ceremony be filled with the attention and sparkle deserving of a queen and king. An elegant ceremony will be carefully written for you according to your exquisite love story.
Please note: A mileage fee may apply to your venue.
A fee of $500, includes:
~ Pre-ceremony in-person meeting
~ A ceremony written and designed around your love story
(Your input is invited and encouraged)
~ Unlimited phone and email consultations before & after ceremony
~ Beautiful copy of our Memories Book is given to you
~ Any photos taken by us will be sent by email within 24 hours
~ Certificate of Commitment is given on your special day
